He jokes about endangering the Marauders' lives and introduces himself as their "Mama." A song he performs is titled "Sucking up Souls and Stompin' on Ants." He has an dark sense of humor, it appears. He was ready to act antagonistic toward Jake in "Daddy's Little Monster," but then he realized that it was him. Even if he seems noticeably "nicer" than previously, only Marceline, Finn, and Jake may find him to be such. This incident appears to have changed his personality. In "Return to the Nightosphere," he seems much less malevolent than before, even with the Nightosphere amulet on, suggesting that this shift was brought on by his prior meeting with Marceline. He reaffirmed his love for Marceline and his sincere regret for eating her fries, saying that he never intended to hurt her. He doesn't appear to be completely indifferent, though, as he seems to be brought to tears by his daughter's singing. Hunson Abadeer is also revealed to be logical, cold, and calculating. He also has a fondness for things he considers to be extremely bad in "It Came from the Nightosphere," he says that Gunter is the "most evil thing has encountered" (foreshadowing Gunter's revelation as Orgalorg). He is a manifestation of chaos who claims to be "completely evil" (these are subsequently claimed to be effects of the Nightosphere amulet).
